Sentur Updates, Feb 2025: The IFS App’s New Community Features & Tools to Help You Own Your Mental Health Journey

This latest Sentur update is focused on making our IFS app more intuitive, flexible, and accessible, so you can focus on deepening your self-work and connect with your IFS community more easily. Whether you are exploring your parts, engaging with the community, or practicing guided exercises, these new features are designed to help you stay connected and in flow.

Sentur’s IFS Community is Now More Accessible

The Sentur community is probably our favorite place to hang out in the app - thanks to our users it has evolved into a space for shared learning, connection, and support. With this update, we’ve restructured the way the community feed works to make it easier to navigate, browse, and engage in meaningful discussions so that more of Sentur’s users can participate and benefit from the connection we can create with one another in this safe space.

But what exactly are the changes?

  • Posts now display an initial preview of four lines, creating a more structured and readable feed. Users can expand posts to read the full content when they choose.

  • Pinned posts have been moved to a dedicated tab, making it easier to find key insights, community guidelines, and featured discussions.

  • A new Recent Activity tab helps you stay up to date with ongoing conversations and responses without having to search for them.

  • Posts with multiple images now allow for scrollable image attachments, so users can share and view visual content more seamlessly.

These updates remove barriers to participation, making it easier for more people to engage in meaningful conversations about IFS, self-energy, and healing.

Your IFS App Relevant News and Notifications In One Place

Staying informed about new resources, app and community updates, and other relevant news is an important part of maintaining momentum in your IFS journey within Sentur. This update introduces a the unified notifications feed under the bell icon on the homescreen, which brings all app alerts into one place.

With fully configurable settings, you can tailor notifications to your needs, ensuring you stay engaged with what matters most while avoiding unnecessary distractions.

Your IFS Parts- and Self-practices Become More Flexible

Structured exercises, meditations, and guided workflows are an important part of your Sentur experience. But deepening self-awareness often requires flexibility. With this update, you can now minimize a workflow session without losing progress.

This means you can start a meditation or exercise, then navigate elsewhere in the app - whether to review a journal entry, check in on a part, or revisit past insights, and return to the session exactly where you left off.

Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements

In addition to new features, this update includes a couple of improvements that enhance the app’s functionality:

  • Users can now export their entire account history, allowing them to track progress over time from the moment they first joined Sentur.

The Self-Energy assessment scale has been corrected to improve accuracy and reliability in progress tracking.
